How often do you post letters?

While Postnord in Denmark has stopped delivering letters, An Post doesn’t plan to follow suit.

THE PRICE of stamps will increase from 3 February.

An Post said the move will “safeguard” its operations at a time when other European countries are scaling back their postal services. The announcement follows Denmark’s PostNord sending its final letter as a result of the “increasing digitalisation” of Danish society.

However, similar changes do not appear to be planned in Ireland. Garrett Bridgeman, Managing Director of Mails and Parcels at An Post, said the posting of letters is “not going anywhere but will reduce”.

Bridgeman added that An Post currently delivers around 800,000 letters to homes and businesses every day.

So, we want to ask: How often do you post letters?

Poll Results:

Not often (2406)
Every couple of months (1334)
Never (1163)
At least once a month (848)
