IF YOU’RE CONSIDERING a move that keeps your connection to the city but allows for a bit more fresh air, check out this new development in Kildare town.
Grey Abbey View is a collection of 113 three, four and five-bed homes that are all close to the town, A-rated and have every a family of any size would need in terms of space and spec.
With prices starting from a reasonable €395,000, the design inside is open plan and will allow for lots of light and a great flow on the ground floor.
The hallway links to a sitting room and then a kitchen that incorporate the dining space and also steps out onto the private back garden via double doors. A utility room and a downstairs guest toilet complete the ground floor.
The largest of the homes, the five-beds, also have a home office/playroom on the ground floor. The bedrooms are spread over the two floors, so the main bedroom has complete privacy and its own bathroom and walk-in wardrobe on the top level.
With hybrid and remote work sticking around in some capacity, the counties around Dublin have opened up for anyone who doesn’t need to commute every day.
Saying that, Dublin City centre is only an hour away by car and the Grey Abbey View development accessed the M7 easily. Closer to these new homes is a host of amenities in the town, which should serve everyday family life very well.
Country living, modern conveniences and easy access to the city, it’s no surprise why the likes of Kildare are making house hunters’ lists.
