Do you like rainy days?

It’s a day for the ducks.

IN CASE YOU haven’t looked out the window yet, it’s been absolutely lashing this morning. This shouldn’t come as a surprise – given that Met Éireann issued rain warnings across several counties over the weekend.

According to the forecaster, showers will be most frequent and heaviest in eastern parts of the country today. There’ll be the odd sunny spell, but more downpours are expected as the day goes on.

At this stage, we should all be used to the rain, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating when you’re caught out in it. Maybe you’ve stepped straight into a puddle and spent the morning with soggy socks, or perhaps a passing car has soaked you from head to toe? Neither are fun.

On the other hand, not everyone hates it. For some, there’s nothing more relaxing than the sound of rain against a window or having an excuse to not leave the house.

With that, today we’re asking: Do you like rainy days?

Poll Results:

No, I hate them (3237)
I'm indifferent about them, rain is just a part of life (2067)
Sure, I like them (usually when I'm not outside) (1952)
Yes, I love them (1537)
