Man charged with Phoenix Park stabbing

Raymond Donnan was refused bail as he appeared before Dublin District Court today charged in connection with a stabbing at the Swedish House Mafia concert on Saturday.

A MAN HAS appeared in court in Dublin charged in relation to a stabbing at the Swedish House Mafia concert in Phoenix Park on Saturday.

Raymond Donnan, with an address at Greenfort Crescent in Clondalkin, appeared before Dublin District Court today charged in connection with a stabbing at Phoenix Park in Dublin on Saturday.

The 22-year-old is charged with five offences including assault causing harm, violent disorder, possession of a knife and two public order offenses.

The court heard from Detective Garda Shane McCartan from Finglas who arrested the accused at Phoenix Park at 9.55pm on Saturday. He was charged on Sunday evening at around 6pm at Blanchardstown Garda Station and gave no reply, the court heard.

Judge Miriam Malone refused bail and the accused was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Friday at 10.30am.
