Man rushed to hospital after being shot several times in Dublin

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a shooting incident in south Dublin after a man was shot several times in the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened at a house on Stannaway Road, Crumlin, Dublin 12.

A man in his early 30s was shot a number of times in a house on Stannaway Road and was removed to St James Hospital in Dublin 8.

His condition is described as serious.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the matter is under investigation by gardaí from Sundrive Road Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Sundrive Road and Stannaway Road between 2am and 3am this morning to contact Sundrive Garda station on 01-6666600, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111, or their local Garda Station.

It’s unclear as yet if the shooting is related to the ongoing feud between the Hutch and Kinahan gangs.
