The 'Steve Jobs' trailer is out, and yes, Michael Fassbender is in the famous black turtleneck

Prepare to get excited.

DANNY BOYLE, AARON Sorkin and Michael Fassbender all getting together to make a film about Steve Jobs.

That should be enough to get any film or tech fans excited. If it doesn’t, the first trailer for the movie might just do the trick.

The trailer features a monologue from Fassbender set over visuals of his character preparing for one of Apple’s now famous product launches.

The film, also features Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, former marketing chief of Macintosh. Seth Rogen plays Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.

The project itself has taken a while to get to this point after going through numerous directors and actors.

David Fincher was looking likely to reunite with Sorkin after their massively successful collaboration on The Social Network, but it never happened.

Christian Bale and Leonardo DiCaprio had been in discussions to take the lead role but their deals were never signed and Fassbender stepped in.

He seems to look the part anyway.

The film started filming in January and is due to be released in October.
