SUV driver in his 60s killed after striking parked car in Dublin

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital but later died from his injuries.

AN SUV DRIVER in his 60s has died after his car struck a parked car.

The incident happened yesterday shortly after 7pm at Courtlough, Man O War, Co Dublin.

The driver and sole occupant of the SUV, a man in his 60s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the area between 6:45pm and 7:15pm yesterday are asked to make this footage available.
