The Dundalk family band had been on a break since 2006.
Speaking to The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, Andrea Corr announced the group will take to the stage again at Live in Hyde Park.
The group recently played together at their father’s funeral in April.
“We’ve emerged after our lives going in different ways, babies and all that,” Andrea said (counting up a total of eight children).
We’re in the process of making a new record so it just feels right to do this.
She said the performance in September will be their first in ten years, hinting that an Irish gig beforehand isn’t on the cards.
