Around that time, Jamie became unwell and was hospitalised for 10 days during the couple’s “mini-moon” in Rome, Cullen shared in a post to Instagram two weeks ago.

She said a cancerous tumour was discovered, which Jamie had to undergo 10 rounds of chemotherapy to treat.

Cullen described her husband as a “fighter”. “He never ceases to amaze me with his incredible positive outlook and mindset, even in the darkest moments.”

There has been an outpouring of love in response to the announcement of his untimely passing.

Cullen’s friends and followers have expressed their condolences online.
