Boyfriend of missing Tia Sharp's grandmother interviewed

Police have seized 800 hours of CCTV footage and are searching bins outside of her grandmother’s home.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR missing child Tia Sharp have interviewed her grandmother Christine Sharp’s boyfriend.

Sky News reports that Stuart Hazell (37), who is believed to have been the last person to have seen the schoolgirl, was interviewed yesterday.

He was not arrested and the Metropolitan Police say that investigation is still a missing persons inquiry with no suspects.

Tia was last seen on Friday near her grandmother’s home at the Lindens, New Addington, south east London.

Bins outside the 12-year-old’s grandmother’s house are being searched as the hunt for her continues.

According to the Evening Standard, sniffer dogs were brought to the home by police.

Yesterday, police held a press conference where they said that more than 800 hours of CCTV had been seized, with 120 hours viewed as part of the search.

It’s always the case of the last person who say her, so they are doing their job. The longer she is missing it’s more likely not to be good news, but I really hope she is found safe & well..

I would say trail by media if your guilty as if you innocent, you have nothing to worry about, but the media can cause a bit of a witchunt.I hope she’s found.

I agree with Mary Cull. Thought so almost from the beginning, esp when I heard she’d gone off without her phone (a teenager go anywhere without their mobile?) and there was no CCTV sighting.
I’m surprised at the amount of information in the media though. Some of it was through police interviews as well.

Though on second thoughts if the witness who says she saw Tia is credible then that opens up another line of enquiry. Which may be why there’s no arrest yet.Hopefully though she’s okay.

Hi Mary, which ones? This is what is coming up under your name: “It’s always the case of the last person who say her, so they are doing their job. The longer she is missing it’s more likely not to be good news, but I really hope she is found safe & well..”
