Traitors Ireland host Siobhán McSweeney accompanied by some henchmen. RTÉ

Viewers in the UK will finally get a chance to see Traitors Ireland as air date confirmed

The Irish version of the show will hit British screens later this month.

THERE WAS TALK that RTÉ had sold the rights to the hit Irish version of The Traitors to the BBC almost as soon as the series came to a close here back in September.

An air date has now, finally, been confirmed by the Beeb.

The series, set at Slane Castle and helmed by Derry Girls star Siobhán McSweeney, will begin its run just hours after the current British series concludes.

Viewers across Britain will be keeping track of the exploits of Paudie, Oyin, Vanessa and co from midnight on the 23/24 January

The show is set to air on BBC One and will be streaming for viewers on the iPlayer also.

All 12 episodes are also still available on the RTÉ Player
