There were over 4,000 guests as this year’s gathering which took place at the US ambassador’s residence in Deerfield, Phoenix Park. It is believed to be the one of the largest Independence Day receptions ever held in Ireland.

The event featured live performances from acts such as Sister Sledge and Nathan Carter, and concluded with a firework display, much to local residents’ disapproval.
