Two hospitalised after Ballymun stabbing

It is believed a man attempted to intervene in the stabbing of a woman.

A MAN AND a woman have been brought to Dublin hospitals after a stabbing in Dublin.

The incident occurred at around 10am this morning, when a man attacked and stabbed a woman on Coultry Road.

A second man attempted to intervene and one of the men was stabbed.

Both the man and the woman were brought to hospitals in Dublin where their conditions are unknown and gardaí have preserved the scene.

Gardaí at Ballymun are appealing for information. Anyone who may have seen anything this morning is asked to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 01-6664400.
