Two men hospitalised after alleged assault at apartment in Cork City

The incident happened at around 12pm earlier today at a residence on St Patrick’s Street.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a suspected assault at an apartment in Cork City after two men were injured.

The alleged incident happened at around 12pm earlier today at the residence on St Patrick’s Street.

Two men are currently being treated at Cork University Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

One of the men had gone to Bridewell Garda Station following the incident.

Gardaí are appealing to any witnesses to contact them at Anglesea Street Garda Station on 021 4522000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

They say investigations are ongoing.
