Woman (20s) dies following two-vehicle collision in Co Tipperary

The incident happened last night near Nenagh.

A WOMAN IN her 20s has died following a two-vehicle collision in Co Tipperary.

The incident happened at around 9pm yesterday on the Nenagh to Dromineer Road R495.

The woman aged in her 20s was the driver of one of the cars involved in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her body was later taken to University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course. 

The road has been closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.

Any road users, who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling on the Nenagh to Dromineer Road R495 between 8.15pm and 9.15pm last night are asked to make this footage available.
