Gardaí appealing for witnesses after pedestrian is seriously injured in Dublin bus crash

The woman was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses after a pedestrian was seriously injured in a bus crash in Dublin today.

Shortly after 10am this morning Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the collision involving the female pedestrian and a bus at Terenure Cross, Dublin 6W.

The woman, aged in her 40s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries.

The road where the incident took place remains closed as a technical examination is being carried out.

No other injuries were reported from the crash.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident this morning to the incident to come forward.

They are asking that road users who may have footage, including dash-cam footage, in the area of the crash between 10am and 10:30am this morning to make it to the Gardaí.
