OH THE WEATHER outside is frightful… and if you were Swiss 100 years ago, it would be straight on with the woollies and out in the snow for a spot of tobogganing.

The following two pictures were taken in Murren, Switzerland on this day exactly 100 years ago. They are having the CRAIC. (Images: PA Archive)
