# Happy Snow Year
Pic: How they celebrated New Year's Day 100 years ago
Health and safety? Not a problem.

OH THE WEATHER outside is frightful… and if you were Swiss 100 years ago, it would be straight on with the woollies and out in the snow for a spot of tobogganing.

The following two pictures were taken in Murren, Switzerland on this day exactly 100 years ago. They are having the CRAIC. (Images: PA Archive)

The town of Murren is still a popular winter sports location… (Image: Trailsource.com/Flickr)

It was also the location for much of the filming of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service – remember George Lazenby’s James Bond in this high-speed ski chase?

Wish we were there.
