  You’d imagine the hole they dug in the bog (in Portarlington) and filled with water and covered the edges in sand would have at least got an honorable mention, if not for its not so natural beauty for its local name… ‘Costa del sod’.

I’m calling bullshit on this list. There’s a small enclosure of sand in mountshannon co Clare where you can contract hepatitis and when you walk on the pathway out of it you’re cured. Who needs brazil, it’s all politics
