Woman arrested after body of female found in west Dublin house

The discovery was made this morning at a house on Warrenstown Walk near Blanchardstown.

A WOMAN HAS been arrested in connection with the discovery of another woman’s body at a house in Dublin today.

The body of a woman in her 20s was found at a house near Blanchardstown in the west of Dublin. It is understood there was a party at the house last night.

Gardaí said this evening that a woman in her 20s was arrested in connection with the incident.

She is being detained at Blanchardstown Garda station under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.

The body of the deceased was found by gardaí at a house on Warrenstown Walk in Corduff, Dublin 15.

The discovery was made before 11am when gardaí were called to the house after being alerted by members of Dublin Fire Brigade.

The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and deputy state pathologist Dr Michael Curtis has visited the scene.
