Body of a man discovered in suspicious circumstances in Kildare woods

The discovery was made last night.

THE BODY OF man has been discovered in a wooded area in Co Kildare.

The body was discovered yesterday evening in Rahan woods with gardaí now investigating the circumstances of the discovery.

It is understood gardaí are treating the discovery as suspicious.

The office of the state pathologist has been notified and an examination of the scene and the body are expected to be carried out later today.
