THE CRIMINAL ASSETS Bureau (CAB) has seized ten luxury cars from a car dealership in Dublin.
CAB says the seizures form part of an ongoing investigation into a suspected organised crime gang based in west Dublin. CAB Bureau Officers (detective gardai and Revenue Customs Bureau Officers attached to CAB) carried out a customs control visit at the dealership in the Killeen Road area in Fox and Geese, Dublin 10 this morning.
During the raid, ten high value sports utility vehicles have been detained by officers. The Criminal Assets Bureau says that the vehicles were taken on suspicion of VRT related offences.
The vehicles include eight high-end Range Rovers and two BMW X5s. Conservatively, CAB says those vehicles are worth in excess of €70,000 each.
