Man killed in Dun Laoghaire after being struck by car

Gardaí say the deceased is a man in his 30s.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road collision in Dun Laoghaire this afternoon.

At about 2.15pm, a man in his 30s was killed when he was struck by a car on Kill Avenue.

The road from the Kill Lane/Bakers Corner junction to Mounttown Road remains closed for forensic examinations.

Fire and ambulance services also attended the scene today. Gardaí at Kill O’Grange continue to investigate.

Dublin Bus have advised that because of road closures routes 46 and 75 will be diverting to Monkstown Avenue until further notice.
