Gardaí rescue five Pomeranian puppies from van on way to England

The van was seized for no insurance.

GARDAÍ HAVE RESCUED five Pomeranian puppies at Dublin Port.

The dogs were found in a cage after gardaí stopped a van bound for England.

The puppies were seized and handed over to the DSPCA as there was no valid documentation produced.

They will be quarantined and then placed for adoption. The van was seized for no insurance.

This is the third incident in recent weeks of seizures of puppies by gardaí at Dublin Port.
