MEMBERS OF THE Libyan community in Ireland have taken to the streets of Dublin tonight to celebrate the death of Muammar Gaddafi.
Gaddafi was captured and later died in his hometown of Sirte today, his death a symbolic end to 41-years of his autocratic rule.
Libyans have celebrated the news, waving flags and balloons and hugging on O’Connell Street tonight:

he was wounded, found, and then evacuated in a car where he was shot dead with a bullet through his head, a good start to a Democratic state of Libya, I think not, but no doubt many western democracies will be happy to see his demise, after all, it would be unhealthy if he lived to testify about the collusion of America and Britain in his rise to power.
There is a bullet hole in between his left eye and ear.
There is also video of his soon being taken alive before being killed or dying.

I doubt there are many non Muslims left. Certainly the Jews were relieved of the property and expelled long ago. If there are many christians left then certainly they’d be very foolish if they haven’t been strategizing their escape for a long time now. It won’t be very convivial for them in the near future if they don’t flee. They have my sympathy.

It couldn’t have been worse than a video I saw a while back of the “Rebels” putting an end to a black “mercenary” (wasn’t it the Guardian and BBC who started that blood libel about the “black mercenaries” to begin with?), suspended upside down he had his head sawn off in front of a roaring and howling mob.
This has been a disgusting war from start to finish but the western press, especially the leftie luvvies favourites The Guardian and the BBC have behaved scandalously from start to finish. I hope people remember their role in this and “this” isn’t over by a long shot, there’ll be a lot more savage decapitations in that particular neck of the woods over the coming days, if not longer.
Its supposed to be an absolutely beautiful country..hopefully we’ll be seeing a new holiday destination for us to visit soon.
I saw a bunch of them a month or two ago outside EU House protesting. I was struck by the rigidly enforced Gender Apartheid on display. One side of the steps Libyan males, the other the females, veiled, of course. To make matters embarrassing the handful of Irish who joined them observed, or were “encouraged” to observe this code.
I don’t like the way they do that. Remember when we were kids and we’d visit my auntie in the Gaeltacht area of An Spideal my mam would make a point of us all sitting together at the front of the church. On either side.
Remember some women used to wear mantillas ON their heads too. And then would have to take their hats OFF! What was going on?
I hope the women in Libya don’t lose any of the gains they made while that scumbag was in power.

Well done Libya! First step for freedom and democracy by torturing, executing, gender inequality, injustice etc etc… Very bright days are waiting for you like Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt… Now it’s a great place ti live in Libya with Islamic pressure! for sure the oil companies will enjoy it…
