Third man questioned over Jock Davison murder is released without charge

The former IRA leader was gunned down on Tuesday morning in the Markets area of Belfast.

A MAN ARRESTED yesterday in connection with the killing of Gerard ‘Jock’ Davison has been released without charge.

The former IRA commander was shot dead in the Markets area of Belfast on Tuesday morning.

The PSNI have confirmed that a 38-year-old man arrested last night was released unconditionally today.

A 27-year-old man was also questioned and released in recent days.

And a 41-year-old man arrested on Wednesday was released by investigating officers later the same day.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to get in contact.
