Open thread: What advice would you give Junior and Leaving Cert students today?

You’ve got this.

THE TIME HAS come for 118,784 students across the country with the Junior and Leaving Cert exams starting today.

The students have heard all the advice from the best apps and services to help with study to tips on how to unwind and focus - now it’s time to just do the damn thing.

Not that we’re saying it’s always easy…the stress of the exams is a memory that most Irish adults still can’t quite shake off.

The Minister for Education, Jan O’Sullivan, has wished all those taking the exams the best of luck saying, “It’s a significant milestone in a young person’s life.

She also touched on the stress the exams can cause adding, “This can often be a stressful and trying time in a home.

“Family and friends are often crucial in helping students remain calm and focused and for keeping things in perspective.”

So we want to know your memories from your exams – and what advice would you give to students today?

Let it all out there in the comments section- there’s no wrong or right answer here! Rescue remedy anyone?
