THE NATIONAL LOTTERY has revealed the top 10 shops in the country that have sold the most winning tickets since 1988.
Dublin, Donegal, Cork and Waterford are the counties with shops that have sold the most winning tickets. Five of the ten stores were in Dublin.
The capital also took the top spot with An Post in the GPO winning 14 jackpot and top prize tickets worth a total of over €15 million since the National Lottery started.
O’Neills Newsagents in Brigend, Lifford, Donegal took second place with 12 jackpot winners totaling €4,993,195. Coming in third is Hickey’s of Skibbereen in Cork with nine jackpots of €7,860,445.

And Donegal features again at number four on the list with McKenna’s Texaco in Muff scoring nine wins totally €6,123,283.
Pearse O’Neill, owner of O’Neills Newsagent in Bridgend, said, “We are all very proud of the fact that we are one of the luckiest National Lottery shops in Ireland.
We have people come into the shop from all over the country in the hope that they are our next big winners.
“We haven’t had a jackpot win for a while so we’re definitely due another big one very soon to cement our place on top of the list!”
