Someone is waking up €5.3 million richer today

Lucky them.

SOMEONE IN THE mid-west of the country is waking up €5.3 million richer today. Which is not a bad way to start a Thursday, one imagines.

The lucky winner scooped the top prize on last night’s lottery, netting €5,318,671.

The winning numbers were 5, 7, 10, 18, 41, 47, and the bonus was 44.

It is not yet known where specifically the ticket was sold.

The win comes only weeks after a Dublin family won a €7.3 million jackpot.

There was no winner of last night’s Lotto Plus 1 prize of €500,000. The numbers drawn were 6, 10, 18, 26, 38 and 39. The bonus number was 32.
