Moving On

Now you see her...Creighton disappears from Fine Gael website

Former Junior Minister Lucinda Creighton has had her page on the Fine Gael website deleted as the party moves on.

AFTER VOTING AGAINST the Government on the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill, it came as no surprise that Lucinda Creighton lost her position as Minister of State for European Affairs.

What is surprising is just how quickly the Fine Gael part moved on. Less than 16 hours after her decision to vote against the bill, the party has replaced her as a Junior Minister and removed her from their website.

Creighton said last night that she was comfortable with her vote, saying ‘I believe I made the correct decision’ , later adding that the Taoiseach had asked her to resign.

She told Vincent Browne that she believed that there were two lives involved in any abortion scenario.

I think it’s extremely difficult and there are no simple answers with this..

If you believe there are two lives involved, you want to help anyone in that horrific position.
