A woman in her 30s was found dead at her flat in Mountrath in Co Laois last night.
GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a man in relation to the discovery of a woman’s body at a flat in Co Laois last night.
The man in his 30s is being held at Portlaoise garda station after under section 4 of the criminal justice act following the discovery of the body of a woman in her 30s at a flat in Mountrath, Co Laois.
Gardaí say that they were alerted to the incident shortly after 8pm last night and that the body remains at the scene pending an examination by the deputy state pathologist this morning.
The garda technical bureau will also carry out an examination of the scene.
