Charged

Man charged in relation to murder investigation in Lixnaw

The 19-year-old will appear in court tomorrow.

GARDAÍ IN LISTOWEL investigating the murder of Susan Dunne at Lixnaw, County Kerry whose remains were found at her house on the 27 November have charged a 19-year-old male in connection with the incident.

Body

The body of Susan Dunne, aged 53, was found in her home at Ballinageragh by a neighbour yesterday morning. She had suffered numerous head injuries.

A post-mortem on her remains was completed today but the results have not been made public.

It is understood she moved to the area a number of years ago and was heavily involved with Kerry Autism Action

The man will appear at  Killarney District Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning.
