A MAN IN his 30s has died after his car collided with a fence on the N52 at Ardcroney, Co Tipperary at about 2am today.
The man was the sole occupant of the car.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to University Hospital Limerick.
This stretch of road is currently closed pending an examination by garda forensic collision investigators and local diversions are in place.
Witnesses have been asked to contact Nenagh Garda Station on 067 50450, the garda confidential telephone line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
The man is the second person to lose his life on our roads this morning. A man in his late 60s was killed after being hit by a car in Co Limerick at about 1am.
