A MAN WHO was found dead in Carlow town last week has been identified, according to gardaí.
The man, who was in his late 20s, was found in an unresponsive state at Cox’s Lane in Carlow town at 9.05pm last Tuesday. He was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí said in a statement this morning that they “wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter”.
The man is described as approximately 5’9” – 5’10” in height with short black neatly cut hair and of dark complexion.
He was found wearing a red, white and black t-shirt with the wording ‘MCKENZIE’ printed across the chest, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
It is believed he is from Eastern Europe but this has not been confirmed by gardaí.
