Man shot in Donabate caravan park dies in hospital

Gardaí continue to appeal for information relating to the shooting in north Dublin.

THE MAN WHO was shot a number of times at a caravan park in north Dublin yesterday has died in hospital this morning.

The man, named as 53-year-old Michael Taylor, was shot several times by two gunmen at the Hands caravan park in Donabate, north Dublin yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí have appealed for information on the two cars used by the gunmen.

Taylor had been on a life support machine at Beaumount Hospital in Dublin but has since died this morning, RTÉ News reports.

Gardaí continue to appeal for information on the two cars or on the two gunmen – who wore black and grey hoodies respectively – to contact them on 01 666 4700.
