A MAN IS in a serious condition in hospital after he walked into a Dublin city centre garda station tonight saying he had been shot.

The man in his 30s walked into Store Street garda station at around 9.30pm tonight and told officers on duty that he had been shot.

He was tended to by ambulance personnel outside the station and has since been brought to the Mater Hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable, according to gardaí.
