A SEARCH CONTINUES for a prisoner who escaped from a courtroom in Bray yesterday morning.

The man was brought to Bray District Court before 11am on assault charges.

It’s understood he escaped by walking out the door of Bray Court with the jury after his handcuffs were removed.

He’s currently on remand at Cloverhill Prison to face trial.

This is the second time the man has escaped. He escaped from a hospital visit last month.

The Irish Prison Service is investigating and gardaí have been notified. Gardaí confirmed the search continues today.
