Angela Merkel had an uncomfortable encounter with a dancing robot today

ANGELA MERKEL DIDN’T look at all impressed today – despite being presented with a disco-dancing android.

The interactive robot, made by Honda, was tasked with welcoming the German Chancellor to Tokyo’s National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.

‘Asimo’ did his (her?) level best to impress the VIP guest by leaping around like a toddler, running about (not particularly fast) and kicking a soccer ball at a bank of photographers.

What did she make of it?
