Paying respects to Garret FitzGerald: Slideshow

Mourners from across the country came to pay their final respects to the former Taoiseach, who passed away last week.

THE FUNERAL OF the twice Taosieach of Ireland Garret FitzGerald has taken place at the Sacred Heart Church in Donnybrook, Dublin, today.

The mass was conducted by Fr Enda McDonagh, with members of FitzGerald’s family doing readings, prayers of the faithful and the offertory procession.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny also paid his respects and delivered a reading.
