SOMETIMES IT’S NICE to get a reminder of just how beautiful Ireland can look.
Photographer Norman McCloskey took this shot of the full moon setting over the Skellig Islands off the coast of Kerry in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Norman told us he had been trying to get a shot like this for a while but previous attempts had been scuppered by clouds (and he only managed to get this shot when the moon came out from behind the clouds for just a matter of seconds).
Gorgeous.
