Missing

Renewed appeal for missing woman Monica Riordan

The 39-year-old, who lives in Navan, was last seen in Dublin city on Tuesday 21 December.

COLLEAGUES OF A woman who went missing in the days before Christmas are renewing their appeal for information about her disappearance.

Monica Riordan, 39, who lives in Navan, Co Meath and works for Pobal in Dublin city, was last seen on Tuesday 20 December.

Gardaí say she was seen near her workplace in the Holles Street area at around 11am.

CCTV footage captured later shows her in the Grand Canal Street area of Dublin city centre at around 3pm that afternoon:

Riordan is described as being of average height, slim build and with shoulder-length blonde hair. When last seen, she was wearing a long grey coat, dark jeans and grey or white trainers.

Her friends have set up a Facebook account as part of their appeal for information, Find Monica Riordan.

Riordan’s colleagues are distributing leaflets and putting up posters in the Grand Canal Street area in an effort to trigger the memory of anyone who may be back at work now and may have seen her on Tuesday, 20 December.
