THE MOTHER OF Tristance Banon, who has accused Dominique Strauss-Kahn of attempted rape, says she had sex with the former head of the IMF eleven years ago.
Anne Mansouret, 65, has – according to French magazine L’Express - said she had “consensual but brutal” sex with Strauss-Kahn in 2000, three years before he is alleged to have raped her daughter.
Mansouret told the magazine that Strauss-Kahn “took me with the brutality of a soldier” in a studio flat in Paris where the pair, both members of the Socialist party, were working at the time.
Banon alleges that three years later Strauss-Kahn attempted to rape her when she went to interview him at his flat in Paris, describing the one-time favourite for the French presidency as a “horny monkey”.
Strauss Kahn is currently awaiting trial in New York for the attempted rape of a hotel chambermaid back in May. He denies the charges and questions have been raised about the evidence given by his accuser.
If and when he returns to France, Strauss-Kahn could face trial in the Banon case, Mail Online reports
Separately, its emerged that Strauss Kahn’s daughter Camille is a friend of Banon and had the “confidence” of the complainant. She has given evidence to officers investigating the case, L’Express reports.
