Things like this people always think about the business, the money, the criminals but nobody thinks about the poor guy who was just doing his job when he gets a gun pulled on him!

A relative of mine used to work in the cash in transit industry, he said only a small percentage of robberies got media coverage! Seriously dodgy job to be doing these days. The f*****s should be shot on site if caught carrying out the robbery.

A lot of Motorsport competitors use what’s known as a GoPro camera. A small hd camera that also records sound. Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to use these during the actual delivery? Worn on the shoulder or mounted on the helmet, it would hopefully get either a clear picture of the criminals face,or when masked a good description of their build and also their voice? Just an idea..

You rarely see any Gardai on the beat in Dublin. Pretty amazing for a capital city.
See them whizzing by at 200mph in unmarked cars alright.

There are video cameras in the An Post offices, are there not? Why are the Gardai not releasing the video images? If they release the pictures, the community can assist with tips. I guess they’re bound to respect the privacy of the raiders?
