Staff in Dublin shop held up by man with syringe

The man left the shop with a sum of money.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a robbery in Dublin that saw staff held up with a syringe.

At around 11am yesterday, a man entered the shop on Crown Alley in the middle of Temple Bar.

Gardaí say that he threatened staff, with witnesses saying he used a syringe. The man then left with a sum of money, after being tackled by an onlooker.

Gardaí in Pearse Street are investigating the crime. Anyone with information can call 01 6669000.
