LAST UPDATE | 13 Jun 2024
THE EUROPEAN ELECTION counts are in full swing.
With a record number of 73 candidates having contested for a seat in the European Parliament on 7 June, counting is a slow process.
Dublin’s four seats were filled on Tuesday but counts are ongoing in Ireland South and Midlands North West.
Keep up to date with all the transfers and counts with our 2024 European elections results centre here. You can also access the database through the sections at the top of our webpage or at the bottom of our app on mobile devices.
The database also gives you an opportunity to read about every candidate, their campaign’s main points and what they hope to bring to the European Parliament.
Additionally, The Journal asked every candidate what European Parliamentary grouping they would consider joining if they are elected. These groupings are important for the make up of the next parliament.
