Toddler in serious condition after being run over by car in driveway

The incident happened near Tuam.

A 16-MONTH-OLD girl is in a serious condition in hospital after she was run over by a car in Galway yesterday evening.

It happened at around 6pm in the driveway of a house in Kilbannon, near Tuam.

She was taken to University Hospital Galway but has since been transferred to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin.

Gardaí are investigating the incident.
