IT WAS A week in which the Quinn family was before the courts and in the news as there was still no sign of one of them who is supposed to be in jail.

Elsewhere, in the courts three former Anglo Irish Bank executives, including Seán FitzPatrick, faced criminal charges over alleged financial irregularities at the defunct bank and the party which facilitated the expansion of the bank during the boom proposed curbing bankers’ bonuses.
