A WOMAN HAS sent a beautiful letter to The Anton Savage Show about her father’s death.
In the letter, LC says she doesn’t expect anyone to read it but feels better for having written it.
She has recently returned to work following the death of her father, whom she describes as “amazing”.
Her mother passed away five years ago.
LC writes:
I can’t believe life goes on and people expect me to answer emails and call as normal – don’t they realise my life as I knew it is falling apart.
“My parents were both amazing, strong, hard working, extremely loving, funny people …
“I am only 33 and have lost both my parents to cancer. I still can’t believe that.”
LC goes on to describe how her father supported her when she had a baby and how much she misses him:
“I miss him, I miss his hugs, I miss his fluffy hair, I miss his laugh and smile, I miss how much of a great listener he was and I miss when he would hug me and say ‘It’s going to be ok honey’.”
