Man arrested over 2014 murder of crime boss Andy Connors

A masked man shot him in a house in Saggart in August 2014.

A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of crime boss Andy Connors in Dublin in 2014.

Gardaí arrested a 34-year-old man in west Dublin this morning.

He is currently being detained at Tallaght Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.

Connors was shot dead in Saggart on 19 August 2014. A masked man entered a house and shot him a number of times in the upper body.

Connors’ wife, four of his children and a niece were also in the house at the time of the killing.

Gardaí said investigations are continuing.
