How much do you know about sea creatures?

Test your knowledge of what lurks in the deep.

THIS WEEK, BIOLOGISTS confirmed the discovery of a newly identified species of octopus.

The new species, Microeledone galapagensis, is a tiny blue octopus about the size of a golf ball.

It was first spotted in 2015 during a deep-sea expedition at the Galápagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador. Years later, it has been officially identified as a new species.

“These are little octopuses that live in the deep sea, and hardly anybody on Earth has ever got to see them,” said Janet Voight, the biologist who described the octopus.

So, today we would like to know: How much do you know about sea creatures?
